MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
LAKESITE CITY BEER BOARD
JANUARY 17, 2006

Chairman Robert Mullin called the Lakesite Beer Board meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. Roll was
called with Chairman Mullin, Vice Chairman Ken Wilkerson, Members Phil Burkett and John
McPherson, and City Manager Edwards present. Dave Allis was absent. John McPherson made a
motion to accept the minutes of the February 15, 2005 meeting. Vice Chairman Wilkerson
seconded the motion. All Members voted aye and motion carried.

Sondra Teligades came before the Beer Board to request an on premises beer permit for Milano's
Italian Restaurant at 8615 Hixson Pike. The Grace Calvary Chapel is located within the area and
they provided a letter stating that they wouldn't contest the application to sell beer with meals.
They plan to relocate in the future to a larger facility. Ms. Teligades furnished a letter stating that
Milano's will be a restaurant serving beer only with meals. City Attorney McColpin had
requested these requirements. A record check was done and was favorable. Vice Chairman
Wilkerson made a motion to approve the application. John McPherson seconded the motion. Alll
Members voted aye and the application was approved.

Ronnie Vaughn came before the Beer Board to request an off premises beer permit for American
Lakesite Market at 9546 Hixson Pike. Mr. Vaughn has a beer permit for his other business in the
City, American Tobacco Outlet. A record check was done and was satisfactory. Phil Burkett
made a motion to approve the application. John McPherson seconded the motion. All Members
voted aye and the application was approved.

John McPherson made a motion to rescind the beer permit of James McKinney, who operated
the Lakesite Shop Easy at 9546 Hixson Pike, as he closed the business in December. Vice
Chairman Wilkerson seconded the motion. All Members voted aye and the motion carried.
Vice Chairman Wilkerson made a motion to rescind the beer permit for DJ Chattanooga, Inc.,
who operated D & R's Smoke Shop at 8530 Hixson Pike, who closed the business in January,

Phil Burkett seconded the motion. All Members voted aye and motion carried.

Phil Burkett made a motion to adjourn. Chairman Mullin adjourned the meeting at 7:55 p.m.
