David Howell

Commissioner of Parks & Recreation

Commissioner David Howell, his wife Lori and their three children live on Collins Lane. As Commissioner of Parks and Recreation, David is responsible for maintaining and developing the city park. He will be instrumental in the improvements and upgrades to the current park and well as future projects.

David is a native of Hamilton County and graduated from Ooltewah High School. He has degrees in Business and Education from the University of Tennessee.

David supports a conservative approach to spending, strong families, limited government, top quality Education and safe streets and neighborhoods. He loves spending most of his time at the baseball field watching his two sons play.

Pool

The pool is managed by the Lakesite Recreation Club (not affiliated with the City of Lakesite). Residents can purchase an annual membership fee for $200, which will allow unlimited access to the pool during normal operating hours. Non-residents may purchase an annual membership fee for $235. Hours of Operation are Tuesday – Sunday from noon until 8:00 p.m. (open until 10 p.m. on Friday).

Hans Bingham Memorial Park

Hans Bingham Memorial Park offers picnic and cookout facilities, a playground, basketball and volleyball courts, a softball field, soccer goals, and two tennis courts. Plans are currently being made to expand the park and offer residents more recreational opportunities.
