Robert Mullin

Mayor Bob Mullin and his wife, Jeannine, have lived on Lakesite’s Lakewood Circle for thirty-six years where they raised their family of four. He has two sons who are now raising their families in the City of Lakesite. Bob has engineering and business degrees and is retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority’s nuclear power program.

Bob feels honored to have been chosen to serve the community in several capacities in the past and has been a member of the City Commission for fourteen years. He is very proud of the abilities and temperament of the Commission and the City’s staff who have created an effective, supportive, and friendly environment for residents and businesses based on fiscally sound principles.

Major initiatives currently in progress include a business development program, land use planning, expansion of recreation facilities, more systematic maintenance of streets and right-of-ways, and capital budgeting for future infrastructure improvements. Mayor Mullin believes that these and other community efforts will continue to make Lakesite a very pleasant and safe place to live and work.
