Ken Wilkerson

Commissioner Ken Wilkerson currently serves as Vice-Mayor of Lakesite and Chairman of the Safety and Security Committee. An 8-year veteran of the Commission, he and his wife Kristen, along with two of his three children, have lived in the City for 10 years. He previously served as Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Committee and was instrumental in the initial improvements and upgrades in the city park. Ken coordinates items between the citizens and Commission of Lakesite and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department. He has been the Chief of Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services for 18 years and is familiar with governmental operations, budgets, and issues. His priority is his position is maintaining a safe and healthy lifestyle for the citizens of Lakesite.
